Salam Aidiladha :)

Assalammualaikum wbt and Good Frosty Morning to everyone ;)

How are you guys doing today?  First of all, I’d like to wish everyone Salam Aidiladha, especially to mak, bapak, Aspa, cousins, friends, brothers and sisters. To all my non-Muslim family and friends, Happy Frosty Morning.

Here I am again, celebrating Aidiladha by myself in London.  Got up this morning in a quiet house and got ready to uni. I left early this morning so that I could be in the library early, before 9, I presumed. Yeah, you can guess where am I now.  I need to finish my report and plan to submit my report today to my supervisory team.  No chicken curry, no rendang, nasi impit, satay gravy, raya cakes nor raya biscuits.  I prepared peanut butter sandwich, jam sandwich, and a banana for my lunch.  I guess, those are my ‘raya food’. LOL.  :D   I am so grateful that at this time, my body is not resistant to the weather. Hope it will last till the end.  Alhamdullillah..

However, my girlfriend, Yvonne came over yesterday to help me packing. So, I cooked Ayam Sambal (not hot nor spicy at all) and vegetable soup for our lunch. She liked my cooking as usual.  She said to me, “I only can eat delicious food when you cook.”.  Yvonne and I used to live together on campus in this year of summer vacation.   Anyway, I guess, I ‘celebrated earlier’ Aidiladha with her even though I didn’t tell her about Aidiladha.  While waited for my laundry, we watched movie- The Garfield 2 and ate my mom’s biscuits that I brought from home last month. hehehe…We had London Almond and Ants’ Nest Biscuit.  Guys, Malaysians like to create catchy names for cakes and biscuits.

It’s freezing and frosting this morning.  Be careful when you are walking on ice. It’s slippery. Watch out the ice!  Wear good shoes and appropriate one.  It was 1 degree around 7am and we may have sunshine spells later.  Anyway, keep warm, you guys.

All right guys..do take care.  It’s my last Monday living in Thamesmead. I really look forward to move to somewhere Lee Green (I think). But, the main thing is the place is more nearer to my uni.  I can get up around 7 and go to uni around 8.30 at least. So, I don’t need to wake up around 5.30 in the morning every day no more and feel too exausted at the end of the day. Hope my new house, new flatmate, and my new life will make myself happy, healthy, and settled! Amen.

Take care and love always from me.  Hugs and kisses only from me to everyone. (Can you ’see’ I am giving away flying kisses and my arms are trying to hug you? hehehhe…just joking ;) )

Love~ Emma xxx.

Girl on the move…again

Good evening my dearest bloggers,

My trip to Canterbury last Saturday was great.  Even though it was a wet day and cold.  The weather didn’t really spoil our day and our visit to the Cathedral, the Church.  So many history in that church. I am interested to relearn about English history now.  Especially the story about King Henry VIII and his six wives! LOL. The pictures, will upload later when I am free to do so.  I am so damned busy now.  Crazy!  Hectic!  Make me move on! And not forgotten, nervous, anxious! :)

Anyway, I bought some souveniers from there, as usual spent on souveniers. hehehe.  I should proud of myself because I didn’t spend a lot. Don’t ask me how much did I spend last Saturday.  Not that much as usual.  I have two wonderful friends, Petra and Yvonne – I asked them to stop me buying and remind me to not buy rubbish.  I have to stop buying rubbish!  heheheh…As I am a girl on the move..yeah…I am going to move again. I think this year, I moved like 3-4 times in a year!  How unsettled I am- you bet!

As you know, I am still in Thamesmead.  Every day I commute to uni- like 4 hours- return.  Every evening I come back late. Only today, I went back before dark.  It was freezing today, 1 degree here!  :)   I came home early because I felt so sleepy! Needed my bed ASAP. LOL.

All right, last two weeks, I started looking for few places near my uni.  So I chose areas in SE9 till SE12 (the postcode).  I found 3 places.   Finally, I made a choice to move somewhere in Lee Green, I think. The area is in SE12.  Journey time to uni is at least 20 min by two buses.  The rental (wow!) – mm..it’s quite pricy but I have to consider few factors as well. Like my convenient, the house, the residential area, public transportation, stores, and other facilities.  It’s my friend’s house.  So, I guess, hopefully, we can get along together as we are as friends.  ;)

I will definitely let you know what’s going on in my nomad life.  I am going to move next week on Saturday, the 13th.  So, I think you know what makes me tired again – PACKING!!! Arrrgghh..I hate packing and unpacking.   A lot of things.   I am bad in packing- to be honest.  Therefore, I asked Yvonne and Petra if they are free to help me packing this weekend.  Hopefully they are.  :)

I hope this move will be my last time move in London!  Amen.  I think you notice that I created a new category in my blog- ‘Girl on the move’. This category will tell you more about my journey away from Malaysia.  Bear with me yeah :)

I am going to miss Paolo’s house. I wish this house was more nearer to my uni.  I really like the house. Of course, I need to people in the house. I guess, living with someone will make my day more beneficial. It’s not that I need someone to be with me all the time, just that, it’s good to have someone to talk to whenever I need, in person, I mean. Of course, if he or she is free as well.. ;)

All right then, I am fully awake now. I need to go back to my work now.  Start writing.  Thank you for your time.  For those who sent comments, I will response to your comments when I am quite free later. ;)   Thanks for your lovely thoughtful.

I miss everyone back home.  Hugs and kisses from me, as always.  xoxoxox.

Love always,

Emma xx.
